Centric is a Tron-like game, where the vehicles are visible from an isometric perspective.
It featured a number of "special moves" for each car (Braking, Beaming, Jumping, Booster), which could be activated every few minutes.
It also featured a sophisticated AI for the computer vehicles, which was based on statistics extracted from an auto-learning Tron computer player.
The game disk also featured a copy protection. The complete 5 1/4 '' disk with the game was encoding using a self-crafted 40 track file system (based on 4:8 redundant encoding and 256 block streaming), making it practically impossible to copy with standard floppy drivers and utilities.
Centric was sold to the Magnamedia group in 1996.
